OUR STALLIONSDREAMERS EDGE
EDGE has a large snowcapped blanket, excellent confirmation and an absolutely beautiful head with dark trimmed eyes and large blaze. He passes these attributes along to his get. He has obtained his ROM in halter and has been standing at stud at DRY CREEK FARM for the last three years. Proof of his ability to sire champions is that in the year 2000, EDGE was the sire of three of the highest placing foals at the TAA Futurity, two fillies, HW Trampoline and Edge of Eternity and a colt, A Status Dream, winner of the combined TAA colts and geldings futurity. Quite an accomplishment for a young stallion. EDGE is an Appaloosa Breeders Trust nominated stallion. We are very proud of our EDGE and we feel he has much to offer the Appaloosa enthusiast - looks, color, size, personality and presence. EDGE will be one of the stallions featured in the VaAHC's Stallion Service
fund raiser for the year 2003. Contact Virginia Appaloosa Horse Club at
DREAMERS EDGE SIRE - DREAMERS FANCY DAM - CASINO CONNECTION IN MEMORY OF HI FLASHY SHANNONHI FLASHY SHANNON was the product of breeding Flash O' Shannon, a son of Prince Shannon, Hall of Fame Sire and High Hand Lucy, a big, stout, few-spot leopard mare of High Hand breeding. Shannon stood 15.3 h, was a beautiful , red leopard with a great personality. He produced many leopards during his lifetime that went on to show in both English and Western Jeanne and Charlie Davis started looking for their own stud back in the early eighties and after purchasing the mare, High Hand Lucy from Tony Molinaro they decided to breed her to Tony's stud, Flash O' Shannon and in 1986 Lucy presented them with Flash O' Shannon's first leopard foal, HI FLASHY SHANNON. It was love at first sight and Shannon became our first stud. Shannon sired numerous foals during his lifetime, producing leopards, grullas and duns. He was put down at age eleven after being diagnosed with kidney disease. His get are still showing and pleasing owners today. SHANNONSKINGCLIPPER , a four year old, tri-colored gelding was in the top ten in the Appaloosa ACAAP Program in Western Pleasure and English Equitation. KC, as he is known, is owned by Melony Taylor of Richmond, Virginia and is shown by Jacque White. Shannon will always be number one in our hearts and never will be forgotten for the pleasure he gave us during his lifetime. We miss you, Shanney-boy!
